Spring Bulletin Board Ideas

Spring Bulletin Board 2012, "Spring is the Time for Growing in Knowledge."
I thought I would share a couple of seasonal bulletin boards that I have done for the PTA for those of you that are teachers or volunteers that do this sort of thing. Before I do a board I usually search around the Internet looking for inspiration. The above picture is last years Spring themed board. The calendar of individual events is on each cloud and the leaves have the letters of the alphabet A,B,C and the numbers 1,2,3. We sometimes have a volunteer and teacher of the month added to the board as well.

I usually do about five boards per year for the PTA...Start of School, Fall, Winter, Spring and End of Year. Since last year was a floral, I decided to go in a different direction and do a rodeo theme this year since February in San Antonio is the start of the stock show and rodeo.

Spring 2013, "Lasso the STAAR"

I know the word star has an extra A. That is because it is the acronym for the standardized test that Texas children take. The little cowboy is lassoing it as a show of him being in control of it. I don't think anyone likes these tests but why not have a little fun with it?

Since we are known as Trailblazers it was fitting to include it on this board.

The next and last board that I will do this year is the end of the year board. I don't know what I'm doing yet but I will be sure to share it with you when it's complete as well as the board from last year.
